The Para Mini Skirt - Urchin

The Para Skirt: a robust assymmetric garment taking inspiration from the panelling, trims and closures of a military parachute. The body of the skirt is constructed from a soft cotton drill, contrasted with a bustle of sheer electric blue silk and brown tartan cotton panels. The closure is a silver buckle cow-hitched to a length of vibrant paracord, tied in several snake knots. The cord wraps around the body, feeding through a buttonhole and coming around the front to for a secure buckle closure.

 The bustle brings in a Victorian era reference, adding fullness and movement to the design while also featuring a built-in hidden pocket for all your essentials. 

 Most importantly, this is a comfortable garment, designed with functionality and longevity in mind.
